Welcome to StudyVerse. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the StudyVerse platform by teachers, instructors, trainers, coaches, tutors, educational institutions, and other educational content providers ("Teachers"). By registering as a Teacher on StudyVerse, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1 Eligibility

To become a Teacher on StudyVerse, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement.
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.

2 Teacher Responsibilities

Teachers agree to:

  • Maintain respectful and ethical communication with students.
  • Keep course information updated.
  • Respond to student queries within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Ensure that all content uploaded is lawful and appropriate.

3 Course Content

Teachers may upload:

  • PDFs
  • Presentations
  • Audio lessons
  • Assignments
  • Quizzes
  • Worksheets
  • Downloadable resources
  • Practice tests
  • Other educational materials

Teachers retain ownership of their original content unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4 Intellectual Property

Teachers confirm that:

  • They own all rights to the content they upload, or
  • They have obtained all necessary permissions and licenses.

Teachers must not upload content that:

  • Infringes copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights.
  • Contains pirated or unauthorized materials.
  • Violates any applicable laws.

Teachers are solely responsible for any intellectual property claims arising from their content.

5 Content Standards

Teachers must not upload content that includes:

  • Hate speech
  • Violence or promotion of violence
  • Terrorist or extremist content
  • Pornographic or sexually explicit material
  • Harassment or bullying
  • Discrimination
  • Illegal activities
  • False or misleading information intended to deceive learners
  • Malware or harmful software

StudyVerse reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards.

6 Live Classes

Teachers are responsible for:

  • Starting sessions on time.
  • Maintaining professional conduct.
  • Using respectful language.
  • Delivering the advertised curriculum.
  • Protecting student privacy.

Repeated failure to conduct scheduled classes may result in account suspension.

7 Student Interaction

Teachers shall:

  • Treat every student respectfully.
  • Avoid discrimination.
  • Not harass, threaten, or abuse students.
  • Maintain professional relationships.

Teachers must not request confidential personal information beyond what is reasonably necessary for educational purposes.

8 Payments and Revenue

Teachers may earn income through:

  • Course sales
  • Live classes
  • Membership subscriptions
  • Coaching sessions
  • Digital learning resources
  • Other approved educational services

StudyVerse may deduct applicable platform fees, taxes, payment gateway charges, refunds, or other agreed deductions before releasing payments.

Payment schedules, minimum payout limits, and payment methods will be published separately and may be updated from time to time.

9 Taxes

Teachers are solely responsible for:

  • Reporting their income.
  • Paying applicable taxes.
  • Complying with tax laws in their jurisdiction.

StudyVerse does not provide tax advice.

10 Refunds

Refund requests will be handled according to the StudyVerse Refund Policy.

Teachers agree to cooperate with legitimate refund investigations where required.

11 Account Security

Teachers are responsible for:

  • Maintaining password confidentiality.
  • Preventing unauthorized access.
  • Reporting any suspected security breaches immediately.

StudyVerse is not responsible for losses caused by compromised login credentials resulting from the Teacher's negligence.

12 Privacy

Teachers must respect the privacy of students and comply with applicable data protection laws.

Personal information obtained through StudyVerse may only be used for educational purposes authorized by the platform.

13 Prohibited Activities

Teachers must not:

  • Sell fake certificates.
  • Manipulate ratings or reviews.
  • Purchase fake enrollments.
  • Spam students.
  • Share malicious software.
  • Impersonate another person.
  • Promote illegal services.
  • Use the platform for fraudulent activities.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination.

14 Platform Rights

StudyVerse reserves the right to:

  • Review teacher accounts.
  • Remove inappropriate content.
  • Suspend or terminate accounts.
  • Investigate policy violations.
  • Modify platform features.
  • Update these Terms at any time.

15 Account Suspension or Termination

StudyVerse may suspend or terminate a Teacher account if the Teacher:

  • Violates these Terms.
  • Uploads prohibited content.
  • Engages in fraud or misconduct.
  • Infringes intellectual property rights.
  • Repeatedly receives verified complaints from students.

Teachers may also close their accounts at any time, subject to the completion of outstanding obligations.

16 Disclaimer

StudyVerse provides the technology platform for educational services but does not guarantee:

  • Student enrolments.
  • Income levels.
  • Business success.
  • Employment opportunities.
  • Examination results.
  • Professional certifications beyond those expressly offered through the platform.

Teachers are responsible for the quality and accuracy of their educational services.

17 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudyVerse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the Teacher's use of the platform.

18 Changes to These Terms

StudyVerse may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective upon publication on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

19 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction specified in the StudyVerse Legal Information page, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
